Academic: Stellar Editing

  • $ 37900

Stellar Academic Editing is the service for those who are feeling lost or frustrated and want step-by-step guidance through the writing process.

All North Star orders come with a comprehensive Grammatical Guarantee: should you find even a single grammatical mistake in your completed essay, then we’ll give you your money back. (To date, we’re at zero refunds and counting.)

Stellar Editing comes with much more than exhaustive and explicitly guaranteed proofreading, though: it also includes extensive email interaction and two 30-minute phone consultations with your editor. In contrast to our competitors, we’ll help you brainstorm, outline, draft, and revise; you’ll have our help every step of the way until your essay is ready to submit.

Don’t know where to start? Let’s work together so you can pass with flying colors.

To get started, follow these simple steps:

  1. Word Count: Use the drop-down menu to select the length of your essayif you haven't yet written anything, then please select the length your finished essay will need to beand then click "Add to Cart." (If your essay is longer than 2,400 words, then please contact us to discuss pricing.)

  2. Deadline: When you check out, you'll be prompted to select your deadline. Most Stellar Editing orders can be completed within roughly two weeks' time, which allows for the full interaction outlined below. (Please note that the total service time depends on your turnaround time as much as ours.) If you need your revision sooner than that, please contact us and we will try to work with you to meet the demands of your schedule. If, on the other hand, you have more than two weeks until your deadline, then we may use the additional time to devote extra attention to your revisions (and you may want the extra time to work on your revisions, anyway).

  3. Initial Email Exchange: When you complete the payment process, your essay will be submitted to your editor automatically. (If you haven't written anything yet, then please submit your prompt, any rubrics or guidelines, and whatever thoughts you might already have.) Your editor will then contact you at the email address you provided during checkout in order to solicit additional information and schedule your phone brainstorming session.

  4. First Phone Consultation: At the scheduled time, you will have a 30-minute brainstorming session with your editor to select a topic and devise a drafting strategy.

  5. Outline: After your brainstorming session, your editor will send you an outline to guide you through the next steps in the writing process. When you complete those tasks, please email them back to us via email so that we can offer additional guidance before you attempt a first draft.

  6. Your First Draft: After your editor has reviewed your work on the outline, you'll then complete a full draft, emailing your editor any questions you may have along the way. When you're ready, please return your first draft to your editor via email.

  7. Critique and Second Phone Consultation: After receiving your first draft, your editor will send you a fully custom-tailored critique and then schedule a second 30-minute phone consultation to discuss your second revision.

  8. Your Second Draft: After your second phone consultation, you'll then have the opportunity to revise your first draft in light of our feedback. You can email your editor with any questions you may have. When you're ready, please return your second draft to your editor via email.

  9. Our Final Revision: Once we receive your second draft, we'll then polish, proofread, and return your final draft to you via email.

  10. Follow-Up: After you receive your final draft, you'll have the opportunity to email your editor with any follow-up questions you may have.
